Broadway veteran Joyce Chittick has performed in thirteen productions on Broadway and in nine original casts. She has won the coveted “Gypsy Robe” multiple times. In this long-standing Broadway tradition, chorus members pass down the iconic, one-of-a-kind robe each year to the performer in an original cast who has appeared in the most Broadway productions. Joyce’s Broadway credits include Anything Goes, Jersey Boys, Grease, The Pajama Game, Sweet Charity, Wonderful Town, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Seussical, Once Upon a Mattress, Big, Cabaret, Tommy, and Cats. Off-Broadway credits; The Wild Party (Andrew Lippa), Belle Epoque (Manhattan Theatre Club), A Dybbuk (Tony Kushner). Film and television credits include Smash, Regis & Kelly, Sex and the City, Rosie O’Donnell Show, Virgin Alexander, Across the Universe (Sony Pictures), Loser (Columbia Pictures), and In and Out (Paramount Pictures). Joyce has worked with many of Broadways most celebrated choreographers and directors, including Kathleen Marshall, Julie Taymor, Des McAnuff, Walter Bobbie, Michael Mayer, Frank Galati, Sam Mendes, Rob Marshall, Mike Okrent, and Trevor Nunn. An accomplished director and choregrapher herself, she has choreographed and directed in NYC and regionally. Interested in new musical work, Joyce has performed in workshop productions of Give Me Up (Susan Misner & Jonathan Bernstein), Dreams of the Salt Horse ( New York Theatre Workshop), and It’s An Undoing World (Tony Kushner for The Public Theatre).
